Micro Mechanical LLC began operations in 2005 as a spin-off of another design and development company International Development Corporation (IDC) in Knoxville, TN. IDC served as the main company in which Dr. Steven Daniel, Ph. D. conducted his consulting business. In 2007, the offices and labs of the new Micro Mechanical relocated from Knoxville, TN to Moneta, VA where the company was based for 6 years. In the fall of 2012, Micro Mechanical moved to larger quarters in S. Florida.
Throughout the existence of Micro Mechanical, the focus of the company has been on the research and development of mechatronics technology. Whether, it be motors, generators or custom controls the goal has been to provide customers with high quality design services as well as low volume prototype and production assemblies.
